About District 06 San Francisco

District 06 is part of California Northern Coastal Area 06 (CNCA) and a link in the chain of communication between local groups of Alcoholics Anonymous and A.A. as a whole.

We are one of 23 Districts in the Area and represent more than 600 A.A. Groups in San Francisco through our General Service Representatives, District Committee Members and District Officers.

Our goal is to ensure two-way communication between our local groups and the annual General Service Conference in New York, which serves as the group conscience for A.A. in the United States and Canada.
